Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCT

    Hi all,

    Has the Giulietta TCT (the semi-auto 'box) model come on the Irish market yet? Has anyone driven one?

    Supposedly it is very good and is a different creature from the DSG. But yes, I have the same reservations.
    I'm a bit torn. I am unable to drive manual 'boxes due to a physical disability (but not disabled enough to qualify as a disabled driver) and am restricted to autos. Bord of Ford Focuses, reluctant to shell out for a fourth and am hearing increasingly good things about Alfa - but still, the stories and warnings are there.

    I sent a mail to Tractamotors in Blanchardstown and heard back from Gary there.
    He tells me the TCT isn't coming to Ireland. What a shame!

    It is a weird one alright as Audi are trying to get into that space.
    I might continue to ask around.

    I know this is ressurecting a fairly old thread but for anyone interested: I rang Tractamotors last month and Gary there told me the TCT gearbox will be available this year in Ireland (from about June if I remember rightly).

    Also the Giulietta Sportiva trim will be available.
