Hi all, I've just finished college and have a really good degree but I'm still finding things very tough here. Has anyone moved to the UK for work in the past, know someone who did etc? Is it really a matter of save up, move, then find work? I know some companies do Skype interviews but I don't think it's standard practice; I suppose you just have to in the right city for job interviews, no?

I know loads of people who moved to the UK to work. Most of them crashed in a friends place or a cheap hostel while they looked for a job.

Do you have any friends or family in London?

Nope, I'm afraid not. It's tricky getting myself together when it's so tough here. If there are good chances there (and I'd love a big city like London), then I'll aim for it and make it happen.
