I've been given a very good redundancy package the job is a dead end position and no room to move on, so they gave me a very good package.

it has made me think about other things i want to do.

My only worry is my mortguage, i contacted my bank and i'm waiting for them to get back to me.

does anyone know what is the position with morguages and redundancy?

what social welfare will i be entitled to and if i start a course will it affect it

also i'm seperated with 2 kids and maintanience will need to be adjusted, i know redundancy is the right move to make its just the worry over the morguage holding me back

    I don't understand your worry??
You have your package to pay your mortgage out off so they shouldnt care..

I took a package in 2009 and my biggest advice is get an income ASAP, I know some lads who lived off their payments and now have neither job nor nest egg...

It wont affect your mortgage unless your changing it as you don't have an income and it will take a few years to be considered for another application
