350d Noob question. Features described not appearing

Finally popped my DSLR cherry and bought a second hand Canon 350d (Adverts.ie FTW)
On thing bugging me though.
In the manual it describes the menu as having 4 tabs on top of the screen.
Thing is on my camera, the menu is missing one of the tabs!
The missing one is labelled here as Set-up Menu 2
The tab contains some features I would like to have.
Anyone know why this isn't showing up?
