Hi, is it possible to lower a garage floor? The garage was built originally with a fairly high ramp to drive up and in over. Is it a big expensive job to make it a totally flat entrance. Garage is detached and about 6x8 metres. Thanks

It would depend on the type of construction.

If the garage is built on a slab which is being used as the floor, then you won't be able to lower it. If the garage is built like the house with strip foundations and the blockwork built up from there and the floor added, it might be easier to lower it depending on the depth of deadwork.

You really need to have it looked at on site to asses the works.
