    Hi Folks

    Can anybody help

My Partner and I are getting married in two weeks and i want to Adopt her son once we do.

He was Born in Scotland and they moved over here when he was 3. His Biological father hasn't been on the scene since then.

Can I apply to adopt him here in Ireland or Do I have to go through Scotland

    Thanks

    Omega

Moderators note- please only reply if you have hard information on this- no speculation please. OP- a quick call to the Adoption Authority, may shed light on this for you.
