    Hi all

Apologies for another bike comparison thread, but I'm looking to get a new road bike. I've around €1200 to spend and am looking at decently spec'd aluminium frame / carbon fork bikes. I've narrowed it down to the following shortlist:

Rose Pro SL 2000 (my current favourite in matt yellow and black, not a lot of reviews available but what I can see is all positive)
Canyon Roadlite AL 6.0 (well reviewed and with decent spec)
Cube Peleton Race (more expensive than the others but can be bought in a shop and not through internet only which has all the benefits re sizing / maintenance etc)

and then there is the wildcard
Radon R1 5.0 (http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k1847/a58572/r1-5-0.html - looks to have a good spec but I've not been able to find out a whole lot about the make or get reviews on this bike)

I was wondering if anyone has any of these bikes (particularly the Rose or the Radon) or any opinions / experiences about the bikes which might help me make a decision!

    Cheers

    Kev

Have the Cube, and love it. Got it for €1055 with haggling. Including the BTW scheme, it'll cost me shy of €600. Quality bike for that money.

Those are some pretty nice wheels (they might not be these exactly though). Canyon had Citec wheels on some of their bikes a couple of years ago. All Ultegra excluding the chainset. No idea of the frame but it's a very nicely specced bike for that money.

I have the 2012 Roadlite 7 - the only difference between it and the 6 is an ultegra group vs 105, as far as I know. Very happy with it. It has the look and feel of a more expensive bike.
