Not a chance it'll sell out. You'll have 50000ish there I'd say. You'd get tickets on the day.

Not a hope, I'd say upper tiers will be closed, plenty of tickets on the day

They probably won't have all sections of Hill 16 open either.

Neither Cork nor Galway have had a Final appearance for years. Now that both teams have a very realistic chance of doing so I'd imagine the crowd will come out. Cork always bring a crowd, but for an All-Ireland SF against Galway, they'll be out in force I'd imagine. The Galway crowd will now start the hype over their side as well due to the expectation that Galway will/can win and get to the final, an expectation based on the way they've hurled the last few months, especially after the last day against Kilkenny, which should bring out Galway's biggest crowd for years. If the hype gets going in both counties, I'd say we could see 60,000.

Kilkenny/Tipp? The four finals (3 AI, 09 league final) they've played in recent years have been absolute epics. You can imagine that the possibility of seeing a real top class match will draw out the support from both counties, and I would imagine a fairly size-able neutral crowd as well. I'd go with 45-50,000 for this one.

No Hill tickets available yet for either game. Anyone know if any Hill tickets will go on public sale or just through clubs and county boards? Would love to go to both games but not paying €80 to see both rather pay €45/50 and stand on the Hill for both.

There's no chance at all of it being sold out. Bear in mind Croke Park holds over 82,000 now so it takes a bit of filling. Only the finals sell out.

I'd see both semis getting a crowd somewhere in the 40-50,000 region. Be surprised if it went over the 50 mark.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Tipp Kilkenny went over 50 k. They've played three great finals and those were on sale at 80 euro for a stand ticket. I can see a big crowd going up for this one considering the lower price and the prospect of another thriller.

Tipp v Kilkenny is a traditional affair so id imagine it will break the 50000 mark. During the good times iirc it even broke the 60k mark back in 2002 and 2003.
