    Hi
I have a vintage Merc for sale on Done Deal, Bonnie Lyons offered to buy it for asking price and to pay with paypal, funny thing is she wants me to pay the courier 900EUR using western union money transfer. Somehow I dont think they will arrive to pick it up. Anyway I havent paid the transport company but was wondering if anybody else got a response like this on the vintage sales on donedeal.ie

funny thing is they contacted me first with a text from an irish number. Anyway I told them there was no western union near me but if they send me over their bank acc details I will do an electronic transfer to them. Will wait and see if they send them to me. I will post them up here if they do.

    Cheers

Western Union is perfectly safe to receive money by, its cash, once you have it, it cant be taken back.

Id be very wary about sending money by it...

Tell you've sent money through, just to waste their time.

At the very least sign that mobile number for loads of spam.

I also got a message from this bonnie lyons that says that she will by my boat which is for sale at a swedish board. She will pay through paypal and arrange transportation to United Kingdom. She wont be able to inspect it she says. Funny thing that the amount of money I asked for it has been reduced by a factor of 1000 in her offer instead of 177 000.00 she will pay 177,00. Mistake ? No I´ll keep out of this, maybe shes after the money she requests for transportation. No other money will show up and no one will come to transport the item.

    Typical Nigerian 419 scam

Whatever you can do to annoy them, you have my blessing. My favourite 419 beater of all time is Father Bateyoo Reelgud :D:D:D of the Church of Fish and Bread

Read here what he does to this scammer:

    That was great.......!!
I baited a guy out for a week once, just a few mails about a tuxedo I was selling in CollegeD, so a guy from Bulgaria wanted to buy it unseen for more than the 30 euros I wanted for it... heh heh!
I strung him out a little bit, I cant print the punch line (or photo here)..but your link is truly a classic!!
