    Hey everyone. :)

There is no chance someone could tell me, or send me a link, to the first year psychology book list? I have a friend who dropped out of his course and he has some psych books I might nick. Also, do you need to buy all of the books on your book lists or just some? Money's a bit tight and I'm trying my best to find the books second hand, so if anyone knows of any second hand shops that sell college books that'd be great too!

    Thanks a lot.

For most subjects you don't need to buy any of the recommended books. I doubt it's very different for psychology.

Hey, the Psychology book is Introduction to Psychology...its really good, and REALLY worthwhile getting for first year as a lot of the assignments are using stuff from the book. if you wanna do well, you;ll also have to do a lot from the book yourself, as a lot of it isn't covered, but if you have problems, lecturers WILL help with their area or direct you to where to go!!

A lot of students sell their books, Im selling Economics book of your interested in it? it's a really good book and covers everything you do in the classes. also thinking of selling the Geography book :) Let me know if you want either!! :)

I'd also advise getting the Psychology book. I got it brand new (under €40) in the bookstore when I was in first year. It's a really interesting read and I will be putting it up for sale as I won't need it anymore. It does help too with essays but more importantly the MCQ exams as I was offered Psych. Studies, although I didn't take it.

I should have added that I was putting it up for sale in the SU Bookstore so doesn't matter to me who buys it.

There is a form that you can download from SU website - Bookstore page- print it off and fill in what books you want to sell with the price on it.

Then, bring form along with your books to SU office
