Recycling a wedding dress

My wife is looking to make the most of her wedding dress, and sell it on to raise money for an Irish based charity. Rather than give it to the Oxfam shop or others, we would like to donate the money to this particular charity as it is one that is close to our hearts.

Has anyone any suggestions as to the best way to do this, or where would be the best place to advertise for prospective brides?

    Thanks

I'd suggest contacting the charity- they may have a raffle coming up or a lot of charities are doing dress sales now. I'm sure they'll really appriciate your thought, it's a lovely idea

Ebay, adverts.ie, donedeal or your local shopping centre with a photo. All of these get great exposure and coverage. Also try weddingsonline.ie, they have a buy and sell thread. I've seen ppl selling-on their post-wedding items there.
