Youtube not working in Mozilla

    Hi all,

Apologies if this thread is in the wrong place. Just wondering has anyone encountered a problem with youtube videos not working in Mozilla? I looked it up online and tried a few different things suggested, but none have worked. The video appears but when I press play the video box turns fuzzy and it states "An error occurred. Please try again later." Working fine in Chrome (but I don't like Chrome and have all my bookmarks etc. saved here and don't want to change!)

    Windows 7 if that matters?? I'm not tech-savvy :D

    Thanks in advance :)

Try clear the cache, ie 'Tools', 'clear recent history' & make sure you select cache.

Try re-install FF if that fails.

Just to let you know, Chrome lets you import your bookmarks and other settings from other browsers.

Thanks guys. I had already cleared all the history including the cache. I'll try re-installing FF. Cheers

One more thing, make sure your flash/adobe reader is up to date.

Try this too, open Firefox, click the Help tab, select Restart with add-ons disabled. If it works, then some extension is causing your problem.

I had the same problem, but found that a Mozilla update was available which I installed and that did the trick for me. - Windows Home.
