Design Patterns and Anti-Patterns

What's the most useful design pattern in your working life? Probably MVC in my world, or the Java EE BC ones: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/b31974/appendix_designpat.htm#sm0421

Widely used, but are antipatterns in use widely in Irish dev communities? I came across these at a GTUG meet in Dublin, but is anyone using the approach outside of mobile and has favorites or references to a collection for Java-based dev?

Do you consider them closer to usability design patterns than code patterns? Thoughts on whether these are more useful for devs interested in usability that the code "design patterns" (templates, blueprints, etc).

MVC, IoC & DI, AOP, Decorator, Factory and DDD.

Worst things I find are usually bad version of the above, ie: Service Locator and Anaemic Domain models.

It's usually code patterns, but certain abstractions and encapsulations can make everyday coding "usability" a breeze.
