    Hi all

I have a quite old Pioneer SC-LX81. The sound comes through fine. But when I try and feed through my Sky hdmi picture through it nothing comes up. My apple tv works fine.

So why doesnt my sky work? I have checked assigned ports and I think everything is fine. Help please.

Background: I took the system back from an aprtment I had rented out as the tennants were girls and weren't using the system. I remember ages ago that the guys who installed it had the same problem but then they found the problem. It was some setting. I just can't find it. I have spent 10 hours looking and am loosing the plot. Please help

    Hey Will

Thanks for your advice. I have now got my sky working. The problem is now the Apple TV and Blueray will not work. I have turned off HDMI control. I now have Sky on the HDMI 2, but the blue ray will not work nor will the apple tv.

I followed the advice in the previous forum but still not getting anywhere. I am loosing what hair I have left on my head!

According to that thread I posted, you cant have Sky with optical input on HDMI 1 or 2, it needs to be a named input to select the sound source, maybe thats where you are going wrong. Cant help further I'm afraid.
