Does anyone realise how versatile a jar of bovril is ?
Stir fry.. A heaped teaspoon stirred in !
Toasted sambo.. Toast bread, butter and spread Bovril in both sides. Chop up a tomato and half an onion and spread on toast. On a plate and into the microwave on full for 45 secs... Lovely comfort food.
Its so nicer than Worster sauce or Yorkshire Relish
Aromat makes disasters edible too !

Ah yes, I've been a big fan of Bovril for years.
My grandmother used to stir a teaspoon into a beef stew-honestly it's delicious.
I put some in beefy dinners/stews and of course, you can't beat it in a big mug! :)
