    Yes because 1 and 1 make 69, that's just taking stuff out of context and making a story out of it! So any shop that donates to Lucinda Creightons campaign here is anti gay rights?

    Any shop that does that is insane, to begin with. Probably not worth trying to figure out their gay rights stance!

    I find it frankly amazing that Urban Outfitters have seemingly been able to weather the recession. The stuff they sell is outrageously overpriced.

    When I was a poor wee J1 student in San Francisco way back in the 90s I used to visit Urban Outfitters and see all the nice things I could have in our flat that I couldn't afford.:( The place always smacked to me of "bobo" central...


    ..."bobo" meaning "bohemian bourgeoise" - those hip types who like to think they're "shabby chic" and grungy but have a fat income (theirs or Daddy's - often the latter) bankrolling their Urban Outfitters addiction.:pac:
