    i put the wrong name down on the log book and it has been sent to shannon now .. what can i do :(

    When the new VRC arrives,the new owner can fill in the back of it with the new name and send it off to them again. They will then issue another one with the correct details.

    Named driver is an insurance policy thing. Regarding the registration or log book you are either the new registered owner or not.

    Ring them on Monday to verify, but afaik changing the name will mean that you add one more previous owner to the car.

    Did you put down your own name while intending to insure someone else as primary driver? If they're not actually the primary driver, good luck getting the insurance to pay out more than third party claims and not chase you to the ends of the earth for the money back.
