Hey lads have a question to ask and could do with your combined help , ive been looking in to luggage for the bike was looking at tank bags but personally i dont like the look of them on a cruiser so have decided for saddle bags, heres my problem i know very little about them and the different brands.

After having a quick look online theres a wide selection but many of them are out of my price range really are quite expensive.

Does anyone know a good decent make reliable durable
And secondly does anyone know were to get reasonably priced bags coz they all seem to be 100+ euro

Thanks for your help lads any info on this would be hugely appreciated

Tbh, I can't see you getting a set under €100 thats any good, unless secondhand.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Know of one fella that bought a set off ebay that were meant to be for his cruiser. When he got them they were getting burnt by the exhausts ffs!!! Just would not sit right and the supports were crap.

Just be careful what you order and try to get them off a good e-tailer. Personally I have a GIVI tank bag and its absolutely brilliant, I never take it off the bike its so handy....even when I dont need it I leave it on. And its great for resting on when on long trips like yesterday with my 450 odd klm trek to the Amoy road races.
