Do all the top high jumpers use the flop technique? Any current jumpers using a different style?

    All use the flop style

It's a long time since anyone used anything other than the flop. I've seen it written that the flop is not necessarily the most efficient style in theory, but in practice it is much easier.

I believe the flop is the most efficient because the jumper doesn't need to raise their centre of mass above the bar to clear it!

Yup - I've even heard it said that the centre of gravity of a top jumper passes underneath the bar

Dale Garland of Guernsey still uses the straddle, and indeed used it (to the BBC's puzzlement) during the 2003 Commonwealth Games decathlon in Manchester.

Fascinating article (from 1957) about the evolution of high jumping here
