They're not very good. One of the weaker preset synths. I wouldn't bother my arse with it myself. Are you looking to buy one? As they're vintage you can see them on ebay for ridiculous BIN prices, but I'd say they're in the 200-250 euro ballpark. They're not worth it though.

If youre looking for a nice analogue monophonic synth try the Arturia Minibrute, it's getting rave reviews atm, I'd say I'll pick it up soon enough. Othewise try something like a Yamaha CS15D if you want a vintage preset monosynth that still has a decent degree of control. Or a Roland SH-1000 (not an SH-2000 though).

Yeah I played around with it and didn't seem to do much.

I have it already bought but got it cheap. How much would someone paid? (Without hassle)

Ps Did you mean 200-250 is ridiculous price to pay?

Well, €200-250 is what I usually see them sell for on eBay but a quick look there now and I see there's one with one bid on it at ~€400 so you might get lucky if you sell it there. That one's from a UK seller. A look at completed listings shows one sold recently in the US for around the same. It certainly has value for collectors as it's an early Korg synth. Beyond that it's not very good.

I've seen BIN on eBay for over €700, but they usually just sit there forever, or until the seller decides to auction it. If you don't decide to sell it on eBay, you'll have to take into account the fact that vintage synths on eBay are massively inflated price wise and you won't get as much through other avenues like Adverts etc. Though remember eBay takes 10% plus Paypal fees, and you have the hassle of postage.

I'd recommend sticking it on Adverts for €400, looking to get about €300 for it. Or else try your luck with eBay. Or stick it in the VintageSynthExplorer classifieds. I've sold on there before, it's a good community and you'll get the going rate.

    Good luck!
