Still lagging behind other TV companies when it comes to online content RTE have finally given us a HD stream option. The problem is is its not really working, just this morning the stream keeps getting interupted, Marty Morrisey is there one second and then it goes to a court scene from Law & order, last night when watching the opening ceremony the stream kept freezing and at times it became so pixelated it looked like we were looking at a rubix cube. Several of the links I clicked regarding news on events dont work and the site becomes unresponsive.

So its starting to look like i'm going to have to use the proxy software and tune into the BBC iplayer for quality live coverage of the games.

I dont have a TV provider so I depend on the website for anything that I want to watch on RTE, €170 PA to use this website makes me want to vomit in my underpants.

They clearly state that the HD stream is testing so it wont be perfect.

It is a pity that all of their streams are not on full time though. I see eleven but only one is currently active. :( There is lots of stuff going on at the moment.

    Also check out http://www.eurovisionsports.tv

Twelve streams and the main coverage from all European countries.
