We are considering putting shutters in our sitting and kitchen/dining room. The windows are floor to ceiling height so cost will be a big consideration. We have had one quote already which was staggering and has been dismissed!!
Has anyone any recommendations or feedback to share? And has anyone ever dealt with www.shutterplus.ie?
    Thanks for your help.

I had quotes of 4150 euro and 4500 euro aswell for window shutters for the house.

Needless to say that I decided for 50mm wide wooden slat blinds instead, and thermal blackout curtains too.

It's mad! Our quote was for €8000 and that was only for 2 rooms. Shutterplus seems much more reasonable but would like to know more about them.

I got my shutters from Shutters of Ireland, after getting all the quotes. Good to deal with, delivered on time and no problems. Think they are made from poplar if my memory serves correctly.

    Good luck

Have you tried Dunne's Workshop? I think they make them also.
