All I could do was laugh.. Made my one feel like a Punto towards it :D
Some yoke to pull from 120kph..!

Was stopped at the tool booth when he got through.. Beautiful sound off it pulling away.

Is your VRs running right? I'm very surprised it didn't show a clean pair of heals to the 3 series.

    LOL.

My wife thought there was something wrong with the vRS
My son was convinced that I did not have the foot down .
Told my wife my next one will need a trip to Joe Power. ( Got no answer to that one :P )

Actually now that you mention it..
    I felt like Fernando Alonso

Yeah I agree. Surely once you put the boot down you would have actually caused the earth to stop spinning and begin spinning backwards.

Would have reeled that M3 in no problems! :P

Just to put things in perspective..
I was under no disillusion that I had any hope of staying with him..
I only wanted to see just how quick the bloody thing was..

In case any of you were thinking I was actually going to look like a muppet and take him on in a drag race LOL

That explains why he pulled away then

    Actually. I never felt disillusioned.
Only a fool would think they could take one of those one with a turf burner.
If you read my Original post I did state I laughed at the rate he pulled away at.

i was thinking all day and i realised what was the problem. i bet it was that shiety washed green diesel! It was way to low quality and did not let VRS to put its whole potential on the road. Vectra, i would be going to the last garage you were filling up. sort out those bastards! ;)

    No
    Totally wrong
It is the front tyres were at fault
They started spinning up at 200kph and I lost too much traction.. Couldn't cath him after that so I gave up :D
