i have applied to cao and am expecting an offer in august.

from my reading of the info available i qualify for beta. do i need wait to receive this offer in order to process my beta? i know it wont change over until i supply confirmation of college place but can i get provisional acceptance.

will my course fees be covered? i am on welfare and dont have the money to pay fees. i have read about a centralised grant system but also that you cannot get this with beta. how do i go about getting my fees covered? from my reading of the info available they will be covered. like how else can i pay them being on welfare.

finally in relation to rent allowance. this is where it gets awkward. i am currently living in private rented accomodation but not receiving any rent allowance. if i find a landlord who accepts rent allowance will i be able to get this too? i want to attend college in dublin but not currently living there so initial deposit and rent will be high.

i want to get off the welfare and better myself but looking at my cost if i only get 188 a week and have to pay dublin rent prices i cannot realistically attend college. i will need to have a deposit saved and paying half my beta on rent. im not living in dublin so it makes it hard to sort out rent allowance before i arrive. that means i have to switch welfare office too i think.

im not really familar with the system so any advice is appreciated. i know there are systems in place to help job seekers return to education but looking at my costs unless i get all of the above i have to scrap that plan. im only scrapping by now as it is.

any help from my queries appreciated? i never seem to get answers when i ask at welfare office.

    thanks
