Snapped in Reids (no apostrophe) of Nassau St. Today.
Both funny and disturbing at the same time

    You have lost me, op.
So a magazine included a guide to both the UK and Irelands hotels, so what:confused:

Are you pointing out spelling OP?

As if so it has sort of backfired on you

The only thing I can see wrong is a superfluous apostrophe. That and that some dick didn't rotate the image.

I can't say I'm surprised by the reactions so far, ranging between bafflement and indifference. This is now a world where someone who hasn't reached kindergarten level of written English can evidently publish not only a magazine, but a premier one, no less.

No, disturbed, as in OP. "Let he who is without SIM cast the first phone".

    Moved from AH to English

"Premier guide of ..." looks odd too. I'd have used "to" myself.

"Hmmm, and it makes me wonder ... "

Did they really mean to print "Reads, off Nassau Street" on the magazine stand?

Come to think of it, what is the magazine stand on its side?

and why am i reading (and writing) this tripe?

For me, the stupidest thing about this one is that someone went to greater effort and expense to make this neon sign with an apostrophe that shouldn't even be there.

Maybe a guy called Pizza owns that chipper!
