GM Crops to be grown outdoors in Carlow.

    I see that GM potatos and other crops are to be trialed/grown outdoors in a field in Carlow by Teagasc.All approved by the EPA aswell.

    The main reason for the go ahead seems to be we suffer from serious "blight issues" in this country.

    I found this quite shocking too......"Bees and butterflys were found to be 68% fewer in GM Crop Fields"



    So is GM the way to go here in Ireland?????
