Scouts causing marriage breakups.

    Just wondering if anyone has figures of the amount of marriages that break up over scouts. In our local scout troop, three have broken up (including mine due to spouse having affair). Speaking to different people, they all seem to know large numbers of marriages that broke up due to scouts. Is it because they all go away together so often?

    Hi OP. Sorry to hear about that :( My family has been in the scouts for decades and I have only known of one break up. Life is strange how it goes in apparent patterns sometimes. When I was married I lived in a development of houses that was formed in 5 groves. of the ten houses in our grove, eight of the marriages broke up ....:rolleyes:
