Ive been on JB since April and have received a letter telling me its coming to a finish and to apply for JA. Id worked full time for the last 12 years and thought id have the full 300 odd days worked up.

Are they sending these letters out early cause of a backlog in waiting times, the only other thing I can think is we would have been on casual work on and off and would have claimed for the days we were out.

However I was only off a day or two every few weeks.

    Any ideas?

It would depend on how many casual claims you had and for what period of time and if they were linked claims e.g. if they were made withing six months of each other... the days paid to you would all link together therefore your 312 days could be exhausting shortly.
