The tiles are on my kitchen floor and can't be sourced anymore.
I need to replace the blue carpet with tiles or timber.

Would you try and match up with similar tiles or try and find something completely different? Or just lay timber flooring? :o

There is a 3mm gap that is filled in with some grey flexi flller.

Semi solid/engineered doesnt move like normal wood.

We have been down this road before (other previous threads) with this matter.

That floor is a 20mm thick engineered oak wide plank floor,it has been down for 2 years now and never had a problem.

I wanted a clean flowing look from open living area to open plan kitchen/dining area......as per the design spec of the house.

My fireplace/hearth is also flush fitted into the floor too,and never had a problem.
