    Hi everybody.

    My name is João Coelho, and I am Portuguese. Some months ago I successfully applied for a PhD grand at TCD. However, now I am having some troubles with the bureaucratic process. Last week I received the following notification:

    Cond Firm Acceptance To Uncond Offer - No Response

    So, I guess that everything is ok. I am accepted without further questions. However, when I try to apply for a room, my number and name are not recognized. Anyone else has this problem.

    Moreover, and more important. Regarding fees, can anyone explain me how the process takes place. My grant supports this, but when will I be notified about the payment or should I contact my supervisor?

    I'd suggest contacting TCD about all of these issues

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
