No trailer or anything out yet but stars Forrest Whitaker as Eugene Allen, a man who worked at the White House for 34 years, under 8 presidents from Harry Truman to Ronald Reagan. It's directed by Lee Daniels who also done Precious.

The cast is something which has me intrigued.

    John Cusack as Richard Nixon
    James Marsden as JFK
    Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower
    Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan
    Liam Neeson as Lyndon Johnson

The rest of the cast features Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., Nicole Kidman, Oprah, Melissa Leo and many more

    Out sometime next year

Definite potential though possibly something which might have worked better as a mini-series?

The cast is a casting director's fantasy.

    John Cusack as Richard Nixon

Much as I like Cusack I can't see him playing Nixon at all.

The movie is flimsy and lacks any real depth. Too many one dimensional characters who are borderline caricatures.

Made me look forward to 12 years a slave even more, an interesting looking movie.

I was thinking what an amazing cast and potential, but
When the parody ready title came at the end, I smiled and thought of this.

This starts off well but then fades when they try and squeeze too much into a small space of time. It spans over 50 years. Agree with the point that this would have worked better as a mini-series as over half the film is about the earlier part of his life which is understandable for character development. But it does mean that the last few decades get hardly no time at all and the film seems rushed trying to squeeze in as much as possible.

Just watched it. Its very Forrest Gump. But suitable for this time of year. Barack Obama must have put some money into it. 7/10.

This is now online on some bold sites. Great cast. Could be worth a look

I don't think we need these updates everytime a film leaks.
