    Hello all,

I have started a new job recently and am a bit confused by my payslip, I have received two so far (two months) and the tax code on both is "E". Does this mean I am on emergency tax and if so why could I have been on it for two months?

    Thanks in advance!

E normally indicates emergency tax. You could ask your payroll why they still have you on emergency tax or contact Revenue to see if your new employment has been registered.
