19 handicap after 7 months would be above average so it doesnt seem like you need to change to me.
Inconsistent striking after 7 months (or 7 years for that matter) is par for the course I'm afraid :D
    /edit
Assuming the clubs are standard and you are not overly tall/short long/short arms then its most likely not the clubs.
    What shafts do they have?

TBH, the set you are playing with would be more aimed at the low handicappper. Even though they are not pure blades they will definitely not give you as much help as a modern set of cavity back irons...
Playing to 19 after 7 months is excellent progress but if you feel you would get the use out of them then perhaps purchasing a set of game-improvement cavity back irons may be the way to go. I play with a set of TM burners myself and find them great...
Be sure to hit before you buy & most decent shops will fit you for no extra cost.

I would of thought a club like that is too advanced for playing of 19. Are you regularly scoring to your handicap? Is it on the way down or up. If I was you I would get a loan of a friends cavities and see how your mis hits compare to your current ones. If there isn't much difference it's worth sticking with the CB's assuming they are the right fit for you.

Have a handicap of 20, not playing too long either.
Recently bought a set of Ping G20s, it's after taking me about a month to get used to them as they are far more upright than the set I had, but I can see a VAST improvement in ball striking/contact and distance, and my accuracy has improved hugely as well.

I may be going against what others have said but if you can play with those clubs without them completely driving you to distraction and you are seeing an improvement in your ball striking and your scores improving then I would hang on to them for a while longer.
When you then do decide to move to a more forgiving set you will have a good basic ball striking ability and the new set will really seem like a doddle to hit

I see you have your irons up on adverts, what did you decide to purchase?

    Gave me a laugh...

Yeah im loving it. Playing regular. 2 or 3 times a week sometimes. The usual step back to take a couple forward steps. Improving slowly but surely.

Good to hear . Hooked myself but can be heartbreaking at times .

Drove up to Newcastle today , looks a really good setup . How much for a round of par 3 up there ??

I think its 9 euro mate. Not bad for an hours practice if you are satisfied with your driving. You will use a 4iron on one of the holes.
