Birthday Cake?

So, the other halves birthday is next week, decided Im going to surprise him with a nice birthday cake for him. Has anyone any recommendations? Im in east london but wont mind travelling a little bit. He's a big foodie so I want to do good :D

GAIL'S!

I'm not sure if all of their branches do cakes as well as bread, but every cake I've ever had from there has been fantastic. They're not particularly cheap but they're definitely worth it.
