Hi im considering moving out of my parents house and finding accomadation nearer to my job. I work near santry and I attendevening college in DIT aungier street. I will still have to give somemoney towards the mortgage at home so i can only really afford thelower end of the rental market.

I've been looking at Hazelwood apartments in Santry and imwondering how safe an area it is? I recently changed cars and my new car is a convertable. It looks more expensive than it actually was and it is quite cheap to run. On one hand, I like the idea of secure underground parking but im just wondering how secure it is secure?

Does the underground parking make it actually easier for people to break into a car as its quiet at night or is there actual security at night to keep watch?

    Thanks

No idea on specifics, but I highly doubt that there is actual security at night. Even if there is CCTV, this is probably not monitored and is only used to look at events after the fact.

Underground carparks differ from development to development, depending on the level of security, ease of access, lighting, cctv, how busy it is, etc.

You could always check out neighbours.ie and see if there is anything more specific about the development there.
