    Provisional License expired Less than < 5 years. Need to know how to renew

    it and what do i need to take all the lessons for the full test etc?

    If its 5 years or more you will have to start again starting with completing a Driver Theory Test, a pass is 35 out of 40, before getting a new 1st learner permit, you will need to complete the 12 compulsory EDT lessons as you will have a 1st learner permit valid well after 4th of April 2011 when the rule first came in.

    The 6 month rule will apply to you, from the date your 1st learner permit is issued, valid for 6 months before sitting the test, you can apply when ever you are ready but you will not get a test date until you have completed your 12 EDT lessons.

    If its just under the 5 years you can renew your license if you have already sat and failed a test show cert of failure as proof, you get a learner permit valid for two years. Though if you haven't sat a test you can apply for a test before your current license expires. Proof of acknowledgement that you have applied or proof of a letter with a test date (the latter is better proof) when applying for a latter learner permit beyond a 2nd learner permit.
