How to change wiper rubber bands on Yaris

    Hi all,

    I have a question which I'm sure some of you are going to think is embarrassingly easy - but im USELESS at anything motor related

    The rubber band part of my front and back wipers is falling off my 04 Yaris Luna. I went to the shop to buy some and he measured my wipers but hadnt time to fit them for me. When i got home what he has given me is all the same size anyway - far too long for my wipers- do they need to be cut to size?

    I was having some difficulty getting the old bands off- should they just slip off?

    Some shops would fit it on for you free, Bosch wipers are free to fit in some places.

    They should slide out... Will be held in place by a non return clip at one end..squeeze that and pull.

    Fitting new is the reverse... Make sure new blade is free to slide in the little holders as it tracks the contours of windscreen
