Job returning forms, and CWO question.

Hiya, I have a question that I'd really appreciate help with.

I left my job due to assault and bullying. I was on illness benefit due to depression as a direct result of this, certified by a psychiatrist, GP and counsellor.

I applied for Jobseeker's Benefit 4 weeks ago. I had to state on the form why I left my job. During my interview, I explained the situation to the officer and she told me that due to the circumstances forcing me to quit, the 9 week exclusion period would not apply (thankfully!).

I went in to the office last week to ask what the situation is with my benefit as I am really struggling at the moment. I was told that a form was sent to my old job to fill out and once it was returned, I'd be paid pretty much straight away.

My question is - does the job have a set time in which they need to send this form back in? With the situation I had with my old job (they tried to keep all my holiday pay that they owed me and did nothing to resolve the situation after I made a complaint), I'm worried that they'll screw me over by not sending the form back.

Do they HAVE to send the forms back and, if so, is there a specific time frame?

My other question is - I had to borrow €130 from my parents to pay for my psychiatrist, and I have a prescription that I cannot afford to fill (for anti-depressants, which I need and am already on so can suffer withdrawals without). My parents need that €130 back and I really need the medication. I have no proof that my parents loaned me the money (although I could get a letter from my father or something), I just have my prescription and a receipt to say I paid for the appointment last week.

Will the CWO be able to help me without any bank statements or actual bills to prove that I owe this money? Like I said, I have a receipt, my prescription and can get a letter from my parents if necessary. Do CWOs help in this situation?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long post!
