FS: Mavic Open Pro CD Rims - 36 Hole x 2 + Spokes

For sale;

• 2 x Mavic Open Pro CD Rims - 36 Hole - Used - Some of anodised finish worn off rim (see photos) - in excellent condition - plenty of wear left - I'm asking €30 ea - CRC charging €60 ea - see http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=71071
• DT Swiss Spokes - Competition 2.0/1.8 x 72 + Alu Nipples - Silver (4 to denote valve Red) sized with the above for Dura Ace 7900 hubs - €15 the lot.

Rims and spokes were previously built on Dura Ace 7900 hubs, now on tubulars. About 1,500 miles on rims - straight, circular and never run flat.

It appears there is a difference - although this is 6600 v 7900 comparison (6700 is the same size as 6600 I believe).

The spokes were built 3 cross on the 7900s, so if you used the spokes on 6700s they'd be a bit long. You could cut them but you'd likely need to rethread them to get enough grip at the nipples. Probably not worth it.

You are welcome to the rims though.
