Ok lets start by saying I know diddly about cars....

I thought I had a slow puncture but brought it to Fastfit and was told that I need a new trye and it would cost €100 for a Michelin

    The one I have is a Michelin Radial X 205/55R16 91v Tubeless

Is there any other good tyre places in Dublin I could get one cheaper and for them to put it on or a tyre similar?

    Cheers

Doesn't sound too bad, whats the one on the other side like?

Just for reference, 2 Bridgestone Potenzas from Camskill would be €200 without fitting.

    Same make

I was also given a €10 reduction as they initially thought it was the valve so get it for €90. He just said that's the price for a Michelin and it would be the same as others on car. Did not give model of tyre

Mechanic told my father who brought it down for me the below:

A plug/piece of rubber was put into the tubeless Tyre to fix previous slow-puncture and it was put in to far and its cutting into wire of inner tyre and this is letting air out. It keeps on moving in and in and thus releasing air

Thus the need for a new tryre.....

    Sailed over my head..

Probably upwards of €200 per tyre, depending on the tyre closer to €250

From about €80 for ditchfinders to €300 for high end stuff. I have 18" wheels and paid €130 each for Vredesteins on the front and €190 each for the wider rears. Vredesteins would sit above a budget brand tyre but below a premium brand tyre to give you an idea.

I'd get a W speed rated tyre on that car

So is €90 a good price to get this Michelin tyre supplied and fitted?

    Thanks

Part worns are also an option. Should be good for plenty of safe driving and Id be much happier paying for good part worn tyres than buying new Linglongs or the likes. A lot of places stock them and you'll get plenty of mileage out of them.

As colm_mcm said, yeah sounds like a fair price. Well, 100 sounded like a fair price, 90 sounds good!
