Do you have 'Yontoo Layers' listed in your Add/Remove programs? If so please remove it because Yontoo Layers is a client that helps it work (overlays the program on top of your existing browser window.)

Here is some addition information which may assist you..

    To Disable Drop Down Deals:

Please go to the following link http://www.dropdowndeals.com/support and click on "Hiding/Disabling Coupon Window." There, click on the button that says "Disable Drop Down Deals."

    To Uninstall Drop Down Deals:

To uninstall Drop Down Deals, remove Yontoo Layers from your Programs. You can do this by going to Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs and selecting "Yontoo Layers."

They also said you can email support@dropdowndeals.com if you need help removing it.

    Hope this helps?

For drop down deals - it looks like it's an add-on. Usually you can remove these from your browser by checking the extensions. Did you look up Yontoo Layers? If you go to their website, it has drop down deals listed there and you can disable it there too it looks like.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks katty i checked all the add ons and extensions
    it wasn't there
most websites say go to remove progams yet it's not in there either
came across a few websites that mostly say it's malware
others say it fine and doesn't cause any problems
i just want to remove it as i didn't
install it and have no idea where it came from
i found another website that say's it might have come
as an added option on other downloads
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic294912.html
    but the search continues
maybe a system restore can remove it
    thanks

What's that toolbar that you have installed and running? Maybe the drop down deals problem is installed inside of that? Do you really need this toolbar? If not try to uninstall that toolbar and maybe this will resolve your issue?

Myself I hate toolbars, to me they are just a different form of spyware!

I was interested to hear what the cause of this was Curehead, thanks for updating and letting me (and all of us here at Boards.ie) know!

There website actually seems quite good, I couldn't see a mention of own down deals nor I want this listed anywhere.

Thanks for the warning, a program to steer well clear of!

I hope you have solved this shizzle... Indeed DealsDropDown and other stuff attaches to add-ons, in my case it was facebook colour changer.
