    Friend had cold caller arrive at house today offering car security glass etching / engraving services. Cant find any links online

    Anyone hear of a company called Regmark offering engraved (windscreen) security services - poss kilkenny area

    l should expand..

    I know why people get their windows etched, but I don't think it would put off a steal-to-order thief breaking it for parts, and it certainly wouldnt deter a joyrider.

    With visible VINs commonplace, I can't see it being much use.

    I have not seen it done in yonks actually. The last car I remember was my GL Corolla.

    Some insurance companies offered this for free, think that was in the pre imobilizer era.

    hi i just had the same guy call today said he's always in the area and noticed i just got new car which i thought completely strange as was the guy wouldnt look me in the eye very odd in deed anyone find out anything, also said he was from Kilkenny
