leaving job & moving county. what are my entitlements?

    Hi there,

    I am currently working part time and claiming casual dole.
    Boss is awful and I can't get full time work so am planning to move to dublin to look for work & get a place with my sister. She's already in college up there so we'd be looking for a new place for just the two of us.

    What will happen when i hand in my notice; do i then do i claim up in dublin or what? thanks

    If you are moving to Dublin you go into your local office in Dublin with proof of address and ask for your claim to be transferred. If you leave work voluntarily you claim may be disqualified for up to 9 weeks... it is up to the deciding officer to determine a disqualification and the period of disqualification.
