    Trailer it out now

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aXt6qV4WoA

    Synopsis:

On the night before an old friend’s wedding, three frisky bridesmaids go searching for a little fun but find much more than they bargained for. With lovely Becky (Rebel Wilson) set to marry her handsome sweetheart, Dale (Hayes MacArthur), the remaining members of her high school clique reunite for one last bachelorette bacchanal in the Big Apple. Regan (Kirsten Dunst) is an overachieving, ueber-Maid of Honor who’s secretly smarting over the fact that she’s not the first to marry, while Gena (Lizzy Caplan) is a whip-smart sarcastic who’s actually a closet romantic, and Katie (Isla Fisher) is a ditzy beauty who loves the good life. But when Becky insists on keeping the bachelorette party tame, the women proceed with an after-hours celebration of their own.

    Bridesmaids Part II :p

I dont think it is getting a cinema release over here, more likely straight to dvd which is surprising considering the cast involved (Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher are great comedy actresses imo) and as it is produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay

Technically it is not riding on the bridesmaids bandwagon since it is based on a 2010 play of the same name, written by the write and director of the film. I'll definitely give it a watch, Lizzy Caplan and Adam Scott in a movie, anyone who liked party down will understand. Isla fisher, as OP has stated is cool out and I for one cannot wait to see Kirsten Dunst get back into a bitchy. Rebel Wilson of Bridesmaids is also in there, so in fairness a really stellar cast.

Now the only real issue I can see is that the plot seems a little weak, rebel wilsons character was made fun of my Dunst, Caplan and Fisher in high school, albeit behind her back, she is the first of the group to get engaged and thus married, and she asks what seem like these three, well, mean girls to be her bridesmaids. I dunno it just seems thin to me, in all fairness Wilsons character would have be either really dense or incredibly naive to do that.

Personally I think the weak plot will be somewhat saved by better writing and a fantastically talented cast. Poor timing does it no favours, people will just see it as a bridemaids knock off, even if it had come out last year it could have at least ridden the coat-tails of bridesmaids, a bit too late me thinks.
