gutter and shoot drains blocked with concrete

    The drain u bend is blocked with concrete when i moved in. Is there a way to break it up with out digging up footpaths and all?

    If the bends are Wavin you can chip away at it and it will come free eventually.
    Alternatively you can buy some brick cleaner and leave it in the Bend for a while. it works by attacking the Cement. Eventually you will have a pile of sand in the Gully.

    Yep, the best way is to dissolve the cement (lime) with something acidic if pipes are plastic/wavin type. Strong vinegar left for a while could do it.

    The concrete is down at arm lenghts so hard to chip away. Have to wait for a dry day now to drain out the trap and poor in sumthing acidie
