    Just finished it myself over a cup of tae, and I actually learned something. When I initially read the first line I thought, here we go, a load of crap as I thought there was a typo and the author was trying to claim that cycling will be the new craze as I had never heard of the omnium until I read the article.

    There is a track scene in Ireland too, lots just don't know about it and let's face it, our three tracks are outdoors and weather wise, Ireland isn't very well catered.

    We had the Omnium Championships two weeks ago in Dublin and we have two National Champions.

    He is dam dam close to a medal like, I hope he does do very well for himself, and his supporters. He deserves a chance to shine - hopefully it might kickstart some investment into cycling in this country.
