Hi, just wondering if there will be any decision in the near future on negotiataing with customers who have trackers, with a view to doing a deal to save the bank money and allow those with trackers to move? At the moment, it seems BOI's attitude is that they will not even enter into a conversation about coming to an agreement which is frustrating.

    Hi Vanderlay Industries,

Thanks for your patience; we've just heard back on your above query.

Bank of Ireland honours the contractual obligations of Tracker agreements between ourselves and customers.
It is not our policy to negotiate with customers on their existing Tracker Rates.
However, we continue to offer a wide range of competitive rates for new customers and our existing mortgage customers. We have a range of Variable LTV products and offer 1-5 year fixed rate products. Should a customer wish to explore their rate options, Bank of Ireland will be very happy to provide the customer with their current rate options.

We understand your frustration and your feedback has been forwarded to the relevant departments.

    Thanks for posting,
    Graham
