Low Memory windows 7 professional 64 bit

    I built my own computer about a month ago and everything is fine apart from Low memory crap im starting to get.

    Some examples:

    I cant render a video in Sony Vegas because it says i dont have enoguh memory close some programs even tho im using 2gb of 8gb ram..

    When im playing starcraft2 i get a memory crash sometimes.

    any help welcomed.

    It's a page file issue.
    Check the last few posts here and see if this fixes it.

    Edit: Nope i increased the page file and it still didnt work disabled it restarted didnt work set it to automatic didnt work either.

    The paging file is only when your memory is getting low but my ram is not low only using about 15% of it so i dont know whats wrong.

    Memory crash? As in PC shut down? Could be a RAM problem. Did you re-seat your RAM? Try run memtest86 too, to see if it throws up issues

    Which version of Vegas are you running? Are you sure it's the 64-bit version you have installed?
    I'm not familiar with the program myself, but from a quick look online, there's both 32-bit and 64-bit versions available - if you have the 32-bit version installed, this may be the cause.

    yes it is the 64 bit version as i said its not only sony vegas..
