not sure - no pic. the one that I was looking at was amd based with discrete graphics. the linked one is i3 and non-ivy bridge - i.e. no hd4000 graphics which are a big improvement over sandy-bridge hd3000.

If you go to the HP shop and customize your model, you'll find no 3rd gen Core i3 processor (only a Core i5). Simply for the reason that there is no Ivy Bridge i3 mobile processor available as of yet... and maybe there won't be any at all?
Core i3 desktop Ivy Bridge parts will be introduced in the third quarter 2012. There was a rumor that Core i3 mobile lineup will not be transitioned to Ivy Bridge. We believe that Core i3 mobiles will be released after all.

VR-Zone previously disclosed details on Core i3-3217U ULV SKU, and there will be at least one Core i3 mobile 35W CPU. Mobile chips from i3 family will also launch in the third quarter.

the model reviewed in the US has an AMD CPU - still haven't seen that one on a Euro site. Selling for 599 usd.

That's interesting, if you customize the Envy 4t at the HP online shop (US), there is no AMD CPU. However, I have to correct myself, they do offer it with a 3rd generation Intel Core i3-3217U Processor (1.8 GHz) (17W) + Intel HD Graphics 4000, €25 on top of the basic price ($700 after savings).

So, if computeruniverse.net has the first models in stock already, it won't be too long until they become generally available in Europe, I'd say.

Ahh, the AMD "Sleekbook" would be the Envy 6z which starts at $599 indeed. There is also an Envy 6t with Intel CPUs. However, these are 15.6" laptops, I don't see any Envy 4z yet.

yep so I linked the incorrect model. it's 15.6 but pretty light for that size and cheap.

I'm a bit confused though, I thought you wanted the "hd4000 graphics which are a big improvement", which would rule out any AMD chip, no? ;)

Ivy Bridge are avaible for the 4t (i3 and i5) and the 6t (i3)

well the cheap one (amd cpu) is good value and has discrete graphics afaik but if I was getting an intel cpu based model I'd want HD4000 if it didn't have discrete graphics.
