I'm out and about and can't explore this properly. I had a leaflet that was dropped into my house a while back that I wanted to ask you guys about but I lost it. This sounds like the same thing. I'm ignoring the big value saving, but I'm interested in saving the elements in electric showers etc. A sea shell has protectedmy kettle but I need something to treat the heavy limescale we have here in Dublin 15. We need Brita filter kettles if we don't want scum on our tea.

Will this system do the job ?
    Thank you in advance.

Yes that will sort your problem. They will try and rope you into a yearly service contract while there at it, but it will fix your problem.

    hi

Has anybody any info on the above product ??

Cost €230 & replace balls every year, this would suit me better than a softener as it will go in the attic & not under the sink taking up space.

I have a lot of lime in the water & need it gone, element in shower is nearly gone.

It's not a softener as such but a conditioner. It changes the calcium in the water preventing it from sticking to the inside of pipes and appliances causing damage. You will still get the flakes and stuff but its easier to clean and wont damage appliances.

The only way to soften the water is to install a water softener, but budgets win out at the end of the day.
